As a little girl, Courtney dreamed of making toys.  Throughout high school, she worked at a toy store and was often voted “Toyologist of the Month”.  She also spent many many years practicing the art of play as a summer camp counselor.  She graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Developmental Psychology from New York University.  Courtney continued her education at FIT and is a proud graduate of the illustrious Toy Design program.

 

During her years in the toy industry, Courtney has worked for well known inventing firms such as The Obb and Meyer Glass Design.  Her products have enhanced existing brands such as Disney's Descendants, Dora the Explorer and The Pirates of the Caribbean, as well as starting new brands both here and abroad.  Her clients have included Mattel, Fisher Price, Hasbro, Spinmaster, Alex Brands, Toys R Us and many more!  

 

Courtney believes Knowledge, Creativity, Fun, Innovation and Play are at the heart of toys. In 2009, she opened WooHoo Workshop to demonstrate this commitment and to expand her business and offer her clients fresh and imaginative services!
